Some shameless self-promotion: SmallOfficeAustralia.

I must be crazy or something for going down this route because essentially I’ve been toying with two ideas for a while now to take forward in my online business activities.

Those two are the above and ePublishingDaily.

All signs show a winner in ePublishingDaily. I’ve tested the waters over many months and the stats prove it. There is a vibrant market out there.

SmallOfficeAustralia shows all the signs of being a hard slog.

So it’s a ‘go with the head or the heart’ matter. For the cold, rational entrepreneur, ePubDaily is the one to go with. But the heart says go with SmallOfficeAustralia.

And so the heart wins.

My passion rises when I think, write and plan SmallOfficeAustralia. And my passion dwindles, hovering from “yes, I’m doing it” to “shit, it’s all gimmicky, hype” when I think of ePubDaily.

A recent bout of clarity sees me getting bored with ePubDaily down the road. And without passion there’s really nothing.
