Performancing is sold to the owners of The Blog Herald with a helping hand from D. Krug

After having a horror start to the year, it seems that Performancing has been sold to SplashPress Media, owners of The Blog Herald, amongst other blog properties.

One word: Wow!

For a (very) short while there Nick Wilson (Performancing’s founder and former owner) seemed to go back to his roots by churning out blog post after blog posts - and quality ones too. Alas, that didn’t last long.

Then the postings slowed to a crawl.

Now Performancing has been sold.

Lets hope the new owners do a little better with Performancing before anyone still left gives up and moves on to something more reliable.

Seems that 901am’s David Krug is heading over to run Performancing. I hope that 901 does not suffer, as it needs David’s influence and attention-grabbing tactics/techniques.

For Performancing, what a sad waste of a brand - built up from the ground over many months … and shot to pieces in a matter of weeks.

All the best to the new owners, it’ll be a battle but I’m hoping you guys can pull the Performancing brand out from the muck.

Note: Aaron has a cool podcast interview with David Krug - who once again negotiated another blog sale

Thanks for the kind words Martin. I have some work cut out for myself but it will all be worth it.

    David

I truly wish you all the best, David. The Performancing brand took a massive hammering recently so I guess the only way to go is up.

I guess the big plus here is the potential of leveraging Perf with the other properties Splash own - do that right and you’ll have Perf kicking ass.
