Well That Settles That: Goodbye Zookoda
April 24, 2007 10:59 pm PayPerPost, zookodaI caught the recent news over at TechCrunch that PayPerPost have purchased Zookoda.
I’ve never been a real fan of PayPerPost and the way they do business but I did like Zookoda - it’s a quality blog-to-email service that is easy to use and manage at the back-end.
I can just imagine how PPP will bastardize the service - and I don’t want my subscribers to be lead down that path via my blog.
Basically, this is a business decision - I use Zookoda at my other (professional blog) and I’ve decided from early on that I don’t want my business associated with PayPerPost.
Now I know I’ll get all those pro-PPP folks shouting me down and how I don’t get it and I’m jumping on some anti-PPP bandwagon. To that I say: hogwash. It’s purely business. I want to develop credibility for my brand over the long-term, and as a business person I see PPP as a negative in that regards … a real big negative. That’s business.
So … it’s goobye to Zookoda.
